Chef Marc Forgione

As the son of renowned chef Larry Forgione, Chef Marc Forgione has been developing his skills in the kitchen since he was 16 years old, first at his father’s restaurant An American Place and then with notable chefs Kazuto Matsusaka, Patricia Yeo, Michel Guerard and Laurent Tourondel.

Chef Marc Forgione is now the chef/partner of Respect Hospitality, the hospitality management company that owns Restaurant Marc Forgione in Tribeca, Peasant in Nolita and One Fifth, a new restaurant in Greenwich Village set to open in August of 2022.

Chef Marc is known for his win in season 3 of Food Network’s “The Next Iron Chef” at just 31 years old, making him the youngest ever Iron Chef. Chef Forgione is also the author of “Marc Forgione: Recipes and Stories from the Acclaimed Chef and Restaurant.”

In addition to supporting numerous charities, Chef Forgione is a Chef Ambassador for Family Reach Foundation, Chefs for Kids Cancer, City Harvest, and Feeding America.
